Ward 4 Town Council incumbent Tamara Becker and challenger Kim Likins will participate in our Candidate Forum. This will be a Q&A Session where all in attendance will be able to direct their questions to the Candidates. We will close the session with brief statements from each candidate. Friends of Liberty is pleased to host Professor Sarah Ludington and some of her students from Duke Law’s First Amendment Clinic. The First Amendment of our Constitution guarantees certain rights for citizens, including the right of free speech, but not all speech is protected. The task of the political branches is to promote a unified vision for the country.
